When Do Pregnancy Tests Fail

Interview - SOLUS

Exo and Beleth, guitar and vocals of the band Metal Valencia NOCTEM end, we reveal some of the details of the second part of the trilogy begun with "Divinity" and has recently been published in our country with the name "Oblivion."

Martin: Greetings Beleth and Exo! First of all I would like to know which state is the band at the moment in which you are about to leave the new record and I NOCTEM estrenáis with new record label.

Beleth: Hello uncle. Firstly thank you for your time. The band is always working as hard and looking forward. We signed with Rising Records for the release of "Oblivion" and now the band is geared to 100% in promoting this new album and tour in English that keep cropping up more dates.

M: It's funny that you all had a label based in Austria, Noisehead Records to go away with one of the UK, Rising Records. Is it just coincidence or is there is no way to bet on a English label a band as promising as NOCTEM? Exo

: Actually for our style is much better that we keep a foreign stamp, as the extreme metal projection is much more out than in Spain, that is. The best conditions and media have offered us the stamps from outside our borders forever, nor is it a matter of rejecting whatever national, but bet on the top.

M: Moving and what is the record itself, "Oblivion", I would like you to tell me that you have connections and differences with the previous "Divinity," which was inspired by the Atlantis and began a trilogy The new album is his second installment .

B: Well, I can not stay up the connections they have, we like to discover that what people in their letters and their content. If I can tell you that this album is based on another ancient civilization. Same as "Divinity" I was in Atlantis, "Oblivion" is the Mesoamerican cultures.

M: Music As I had the opportunity to pre-listen of the album and I can say that every time you sound like better, both in production as far as mutual respect among musicians. Tell us how were the recording sessions and who is responsible for its production .

E: The truth is that in this album have been much more accurate and retailers at the time of recording, as we have taken much longer and we have focused on perfecting what already was clear. The album was produced by Daniel Cardoso, who had done great work with bands like Apatrida Angelus, Switchtense, Aura Noir or Anneke Van Giersbergen; was different working with an outside producer for the label, and we could concentrate more on the entire recording process, hardly saw the light of day in two weeks.

M: One of the things you think, always a lot since your beginnings is the image, the staging, as the photos of the band and especially the music. The latest videos of "Divinity" were really impressive. Have you already thought of something to shoot with the new songs?

E: Yes, and it's still not going to reveal. The videos continue with the lines of "Across Towards Heracles" and "Divinity." We always try not to fall into the predictable and innovate in all aspects of the band, and the same will happen with the next videos of "Oblivion." We will not let head puppet!

M: Speaking of the group's image could not overlook the artwork on the discs, which in your case is the work of Basque known Brazilian artist Marcelo, I already made the cover of "Divinity ". What can we reveal about new artwork and symbolism?

B: On the deck there is rather little to reveal. The cover is inspired by the song "A winged snake borning." It can see the winged serpent which has succumbed impaled. This symbolism is not rejection of the Mayan culture, but rather of recognizing and painful for all that one day they caught up, including its culture.

M: By the way, if I remember correctly the disc goes out officially on June 13 via Rising Records, although I have understood that there is an edition prepared for the end of May in Spain Is there any difference between the two editions?

E: The special edition has already been launched in Spain from April 25 is available through the online store Noctem and all dates of the current national tour of Oblivion 2011, is an issue Special signed by all members of the band. June 13 is the worldwide release date and from that moment the album and what you can get through the stores for our country.

M: I know it is not the time to talk about the third part of the trilogy, but you already have ideas about it? Do you feel pressured by having to hold the bar so high?

B: Yes, certainly. The theme is fully committed. You need only define certain aspects and get to work on it, but as you said, now is not the time. Do not feel pressure when you do you do with total commitment and trying to get out of the most professional manner possible. Each album is a challenge and surpass what we try is making this trilogy a progression.

M: You already have some experience of touring Europe, so I guess to present the new work also will have already planned a tour of different countries What developments can we comment? Will there be any surprises in the new direct NOCTEM?

B: We have some offers tour of different agencies, we have not closed anything, nor can we do anything publicly. At this time we are fully focused on the English release of the album and English tour of submission. In September / October we will start work very seriously in Europe. Surprises ... well there is always something new each season, but always take the same direct turn violent and bloody as ever, but Noctem not be the same.

M: Speaking of other countries, is how to accept your music outside our borders? Do you have good feedback from the audience?

E: The metal end has a lot more responsive outside of our borders, in countries of Eastern Europe and especially the northern zone, the more raw metal is a style in the shade, but a principal aspect of the metal, and we have seen in recent tours we have done in 2010, with Incantation, Hate, Ragnarok and Gorgoroth. People in a huge dump.

M: And in Spain, how about you going?

B: Spain is a great country with a very small scene, which received very good support from most metalheads. Unfortunately not as much as in Europe, but it is something to which we are accustomed. In Europe, the bands do not see you as a direct competitor, but as a companion and a metalhead more on the international scene.

M: No, thank you for your answers and here is a place to say goodbye .

B: A pleasure this time. A big hello to all readers and fans / friends who support us. Hope to see you in giving everything Oblivion Tour.

E: A brutal greetings to all readers Noizz! We are shedding blood in the national tour of Oblivion 2011!
